Eugene Buica (born May 16, 1963) is a Romanian born actor, writer, director, producer and acting teacher.

He is best known for founding an international acting school called “The Acting Corps”. The Acting Corps was based in North Hollywood and regarded as one of the best acting schools in Los Angeles and beyond.

The Acting Corps was the first ever “short term acting conservatory”, where actors would train for a year and gather all the skills necessary to go on to have acting careers. As Artistic Director, Buica and members of his faculty trained 4700 actors between 2001 and 2018.

Mr. Buica started his creative life at the age of 5, learning to play the violin at the George Enesco School of Music in Bucharest, Romania. After fleeing Communism with his parents and coming to America at the age of 10, he continued to play the violin while attending Manhattan’s elite Stuyves
