Son Spreads Word Of Parents' Ordeal
When Michael Korenblit of Edmond was growing up, he didn't have to scour reference books if he wanted to know about the horrors of German concentration camps in World War II.
His parents were living witnesses.
They had experienced life and suffering in some of the most dreaded places on Earth.
Korenblit later wrote a book, "Until We Meet Again: A True Story of Love and Survival in the Holocaust." In addition, he speaks often to grade school, junior high and high school students about his parents' survival quest in Nazi hands.
"I speak so people will know what happened in the Holocaust and that prejudice is like a disease...
they haven't found a cure for it yet," Korenblit said in an interview in the Edmond home he shares with his wife, Joan, and their 12-year-old twins, Joshua and Michelle.
